REITs Give Back to Hawaii
Since 2018, the Nareit Foundation and Nareit Hawaii have awarded $2.2 million in grants to 26 nonprofit organizations statewide to support affordable housing projects and community charities. Please watch the video to learn more about the good work being done by many of these nonprofits for Hawaii.

Program Provides Support For Keiki Across The Island
Nareit Hawai‘i presented a $30,000 grant to Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i for its Great Futures for Keiki program. The funding will support children in after-school enrichment programs, as well as bolster food nourishment efforts.

The contribution is for the Futures for Keiki program, with the funding to be utilized to support after school programs and food nourishment.

Nareit Hawaii awarded a $30,000 grant to the Binhi At Ani Filipino Community Center to support the expansion of its Bayanihan Feeding Program, the beneficiaries of which are seniors on fixed incomes who have free meals prepared and delivered to them at home.

Nareit Hawaii provides $130,000 grant to help with affordable housing
The construction site of a developing single-family dwelling was the site where Nareit Hawaii Community Giving Initiative turned over $130,000 to the Kaua‘i Housing Development Corporation to help with the building of the house being done under the affordable housing designation by the county’s Housing Agency.
New Hilo Affordable Senior Housing Awarded $145,000 from Nareit Hawaii Community Giving Initiative
Today, Veterans Day, Hawaii Island elected officials and community leaders welcomed the start of a new affordable rental housing development – Hale Nā Koa ‘O Hanakahi – that is being built in Hilo for seniors with a preference to serve U.S. military veterans and spouses of deceased veterans.
